Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar on our Ford 350 Motor Home. The Avail is definitely a tow bar that stands out when it comes to capacity. This is a pretty heavy-duty tow bar, and its max capacity is gonna be 10,000 pounds, which is more than enough for our Wrangler, but if you ever plan on moving up to a larger tow vehicle down the road, this will be able to handle that. So that's really nice peace of mind, and having that rating, especially with the Wrangler, you don't ever have to worry about this failing. Now, some of the features that it has that I really, really like and recommend to everyone is going to be the non-binding style. So some of your older tow bars, once you're in this locked position after towing, it is really hard to get these to separate and draw your arms back, and you really have to make sure that it's on perfectly flat level ground to be able to do that, but that's not the case here because ours is non-binding and you can see that it's locked here, I just simply push this down, and this is gonna allow us to draw that arm back nice and easy, even if you are on unlevel surfaces. more
